We have a very busy week ahead of us. Here is a quick outline of how our week is shaping up.
Monday BC Dot Day - celebrating the artist in all of us!
Tuesday Photo Day & Hot lunch forms due today
Wednesday
Thursday Library
Friday Fox Trot at 1pm
All week we will be collecting donations for Terry Fox. We will start on Tuesday with nickels and dimes and gradually get up to toonies by Friday.
On Monday your child will also be bringing home an orange Sight Word booklet. These booklets are for nightly reading practice. Once the first list is mastered, please continue to advance through the lists. I will be checking in with your child throughout the week. Parent volunteers will also be helping in the mornings. It's a good idea to keep the orange booklet in their plastic zip top bag that they brought home with their chosen book.
The Tool Sound booklets will also be checked weekly (sent home on Friday Oct 3rd). When your child has mastered each tool sound, a new page will be added to their book. Tuck this book into their zip top bag too so that we always know where it is.
Here's to a wonderful week ahead!
